Dear Alumni & Friends:
Mark your calandar, make your vacation, and spread the news to
others. Your Churchs Ferry Alumni Association has chosen the 4th Saturday
of June to meet each year. That date will be June 25 for 2005. The event is
open to all. We honor special classes of 25,35,50,60,70 and older years
since graduation or being a class member. We welcome any class that
desires to be included and we will assist with advertising and available
addresses. this year the honored classes will include: 1935-1945-1955-
1970 and 1980.
A catered swiss steak meal will be served on Saturday at 5
p.m. the cost will be $7.00 - however, members of honored classes and their spouse
plus active committee members do not pay. We will need to know if you plan to
attend by June 20,2005 or anytime before that date. Call Ann Nelson at 701-466-
or email to Sid.Bingaman@sendit.nodak.edu.
Pease inform us if any of you or a member of you family is
willing to bring a brief number in song, drama, instrumental, etc. For the
Saturday evening event. We trust each honored class will be present to be
introduced and make comments.
We need to do more work on the Alumni Center (gym) roof
and big windows. Your Alumni Board has decided we need an annual dues structure
for maintenance. Therefore, we ask each person to send a $10 donation per year
to our recording secretary, Jean Meyer, at 5125 49th avenue NE, York, ND 58386.
The annual dues can be mailed or paid at the June event.
A tentative schedule for June 25, 2005 is enclosed for
your information. We are always open to suggestions- hope to hear from you soon!
